Born early with a malformed stomach, doctors told me to quit gluten when I turned 18 for one simple reason: I would vomit every time I ate gluten.
At 18, life is all about the high school diploma, carefree days, and feeling invincible—definitely not the time to be told you’ll have to watch everything you eat for the rest of your life!
I’ve loved traveling since I spent a year in boarding school in England at 14, but I definitely didn’t expect this “issue” (which, let’s face it, is a pain) to interfere with my desire to explore the world. Being non-celiac gluten sensitive (which, I’ll admit, is a bit easier to manage than celiac) has, in the end, probably saved my life! And trust me, in a good way. Let me tell you how.
I moved to Asia and South America, and that’s when the REVELATION hit. I was tired of spending hours online searching for the gluten-free restaurant in each city that was both safe and delicious.
So, I started writing my first blog, sharing articles about my favorite gluten-free spots I discovered during my travels. I also came across some truly inspiring initiatives, like a 100% gluten-free market in Buenos Aires.
These experiences led me to create Gluten Libre in 2020 with a clear vision: to offer a space where gluten-intolerant people can connect, cook, share, and live fully—without fear.
The ambition is simple (and, I admit, ambitious): to become THE ultimate guide for gluten-free living. To achieve this, I’m not alone.
Today, I’m surrounded by an incredibly engaged gluten-free community. On Instagram, WhatsApp, and other platforms, we exchange daily on our challenges and seek solutions together to live our gluten-free lives to the fullest.
This community inspires me every day to come up with new ideas, projects, and content for Gluten Libre, aiming to meet their needs and improve our gluten-free lives.
A collaborative map: With over 2.3 million visits and 1,500 addresses listed across 27 countries, this map helps thousands of people find gluten-free spots worldwide! It’s interactive, so anyone can add their gluten-free discoveries. 😀

Tasty collaborations: I work with establishments, chefs, and brands to showcase their gluten-free offerings through videos and exclusive content. Here, we focus on quality, taste, health, tasty, and most importantly, safety! No questionable brands here. 😀
Gluten Libre is, above all, a human adventure that now brings together thousands of people around a common goal: making the gluten-free daily life simpler and more joyful.
