Like a true 100% French woman, I’m always on the lookout for good, tasty bakeries. Here’s my selection of gluten-free bakeries in Paris, offering bread, pastries and lots of nice surprises. I’ve tried to fill every neighborhood. I hope you’ll find what you’re looking for!
1. Helmut New Cake : 30 avenue de Friedland, 8ème
Looking for a 100% gluten-free patisserie and bakery in Paris? Helmut New cake is one of the best places for you. Located in two very strategic Parisian locations, you’re in for a treat: on the menu are French pastries, but also great bread, and good sandwiches to take away. Then there are salads for those who want something lighter! The feedback on this place is nothing but positive, the atmosphere is super pleasant and the products are delicious! 0 risk of contamination, that’s for sure!
2. Maison Plume : 3ème arrondissement (Fille de Calvaire)
100% sugar-free and gluten-free, Maison Plume is a wonderful surprise that I discovered not so long ago. Bread, cakes, galettes, cakes and pastries, nothing better! You’re about to enter a world very unique to Maison Plume, very elegant and refined! The products are perfectly displayed, and it smells great! As you’ll see, most of their pastries are oval-shaped, which is one of their specialties.
3. La Meringaie : 6ème arrondissement (Rennes), 9ème arrondissement (Saint Georges), 17ème arrondissement (Villiers)
Do you know one of France’s 100% gluten-free specialties? Meringue, of course! This establishment, La Meringaie, showcases this beautiful delicacy full of sweetness and flavor. You’re in for a treat! There’s a surprise in store! 100% gluten-free, this gluten-free bakery in Paris is quite surprising: fresh fruit, whipped cream, to make an original and super gourmet pastry! Give it a try!
4. No Glu boutique : 7ème arrondissement (Rue du Bac) et 11ème arrondissement (Voltaire)
I’ve already done an article on Noglu Paris, which are really rich in information. Their restaurant is delicious, and I love their store. They have lots of products, pastries, and it’s one of the few true gluten-free bakeries in Paris, a French-style bakery, full of charm, good smells, and good tastes! Come and discover their two bakeries – you’ll love them!
5. La Belle vie sans gluten : 19 ème arrondissement
La Belle vie sans gluten is the must-visit gluten-free bakery in Paris. A real bakery, where you’ll find everything you’d find in a “normal” bakery. Yes, Clémentine, the founder of La Belle vie sans gluten, has got it right: offering 100% gluten-free products in a bakery inspired by typical French bakeries. If you’re gluten-free, and from a country other than France, at La Belle vie sans gluten, you’ll get the real French experience!
6. Chambelland : 11ème arrondissement (Parmentier )
All organic and gluten-free, Chambelland, the 11th arrondissement’s top bakery, with lots of goodies: bread, pastries, and new surprises on a regular basis. The atmosphere is super relaxing, and looks 100% like a real bakery, except that this one is 100% gluten-free and organic! So hurry in and try their freshly baked warm bread!
7. Atelier des Lilas
L’Atelier des Lilas is one of the suppliers of our restaurants (Le Judy), so we decided to talk about them. They’re all over Paris, in many restaurants, bakeries and so on. I’ll let you discover the addresses right here.
As for what you can eat there: pastries, breads, quiches, salads and desserts. They also cater all kinds of events, if you’re interested. Gluten-free catering, here we come!
8. Maison Kayser
The luxury of bread, here it is, here it is. This Paris-famous house offers several gluten-free options: bread, baguettes and lots of other goodies, depending on where you go. I’ll let you discover their addresses right here. There’s bound to be one near where you are! Just call ahead to make sure they have gluten-free bread in stock.
9. Copains Paris : Dans le 2ème et bientôt dans le 18 et le 4 !
This gluten-free bakery in Paris is a dinguerie! Really… I discovered it last year and shared it with you on Instagram. They have absolutely everything gluten-free: pain au chocolat, croissant, pain croustillant, chausson aux pommes, galette, cookie, cookies and more! Come and discover them as soon as possible! 100% gluten-free, so zero cross-contamination. The only hitch: it’s not cheap, but it’s worth it, believe me!
10. Les berlingots d’hier : Dans le 14ème
One of the first gluten-free bakeries in Paris, with gluten-free breads and gluten-free brioches. With zero traces of gluten, they have a special gluten-free workshop! Go and discover this pink bakery, a pioneer in gluten-free in Paris!
