This restaurant in Ubud is simply the best place I’ve ever been. I visited Ubud for 3 days and ate there 4 times haha. The first time, I ate at the restaurant and the place was perfect for a relaxing moment. You can have your lunch in front of a beautiful rice field, in a super wild environment. Their restaurant has its own unique way of sharing Balinese culture. Everything is made of wood, with great sofas to sit and eat quietly.
When you enter the restaurant, you have several choices: takeaway, where you can even choose your dessert from a specially made display case. Or you can enjoy your meal inside. The waiters speak fluent English and know exactly what a gluten-free diet is. So don’t hesitate to ask them for advice. If you can’t speak English, follow the gluten-free menu written in Balinese or English.
The other three times, I got takeaway from my hotel… (yes when I tell you I loved this place, it’s because I really did!). With the GOJEK app, you can order whatever you want, whenever you want and wherever you want in Bali. You should definitely try their food, either in their restaurant or at your hotel. Can you imagine, eating good gluten-free pasta while relaxing in front of your pool?
Their menu is 100% gluten-free!
Ubud really is the place to go if you’re gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan, and especially to Atman kafe.
It’s a dream place for coeliacs. They have pizzas, pastas, crêpes, bread, pancakes, biscuits, everything is gluten-free, made just for you!
They also have plenty of options for vegans with their rice, soya milk, vegan mozzarella and lots of other lovely surprises!
You can eat for an average of €6, which is really reasonable for a place as crazy as Atman café.
They also have their own shop inside, with lots of things you’ll love! Trust me, this place is a little treasure.
I hope you love this gluten-free place in Ubud!
Chloé.
